Our Causes

At Marang a Letsatsi, we are committed to providing psycho-social support for orphans and vulnerable children in Khayelitsha and surrounding areas. Our support groups create a safe space for children (ages 6–18) to express their emotions, navigate grief and loss, and develop emotional resilience. By fostering a sense of belonging and strengthening their coping skills, we help children heal and grow without suppressing their pain.

We also run empowerment programs for teenage girls, focusing on critical issues such as teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, HIV awareness, menstrual health, gender-based violence (GBV), and children’s rights. In addition to education and emotional support, we provide sanitary towels, toiletries, and refreshments to ensure that no girl misses opportunities due to a lack of basic necessities. Through our initiatives, we promote emotional well-being, resilience, and empowerment, ensuring that vulnerable children and teenagers receive the support they need to thrive despite life’s challenges.
